Eleventh and Hoyt

A Pre-Application Conference has been scheduled [PDF] for a new 14-story residential building at NW Eleventh and Hoyt in the Pearl District. The building will contain approximately 98 dwelling units, with a mix of studios and one or two bedroom apartments. The ground floor will have two retail spaces, and a parking garage with 52 mechanized spaces. As reported in the Oregonian, the developer for the project is John Carroll, whose previous buildings in the neighborhood include The Elizabeth and The Edge Lofts. The architects are Ankrom Moisan.

The site at 535 NW 11th Avenue is currently occupied by Jim Stevens Auto Body, who are reportedly looking to relocate.

The Pre-Application Conference is scheduled for March 24th. A Type III Design Review with hearings before the Design Commission is expected to be required.
