Early Assistance has been requested for a project at 5105 SE Woodstock Blvd:

Construct a 27 unit apartment building.

Early Assistance has been requested by Scott Edward Architecture for a project at 7601 SE Division St:

Four or five story multi-family building consisting entirely of affordable housing (approximately 118-130 units)

Early Assistance has been requested for a project at the southeast corner of NW 20th & Savier:

Discuss the feasibility, needed analysis and evidence to amend the Conway Master Plan (LU 12-135162), as applied to Blocks 16, 261, and 262, to allow a hotel. No change to Master Plan-wide FAR cap or existing height limits proposed.

A Pre-Application Conference has been scheduled by EPR Design to discuss a project East of 12395 SW Clara Ln:

Proposal to construct a new 60-90 bed residential care facility licensed by the State of Oregon for 24-Hour Care. The residents will not be driving or own cars that are parked at the site. There will be one common kitchen and one common dining area. No kitchens provided in the resident rooms. The resident rooms will consist of a sleeping area and a private 1/2 bath. Onsite parking is proposed, a trash enclosure and associated site work and landscaping.

A Pre-Application Conference has been scheduled by DAO Architecture to discuss a project at 2171 NW Glisan St:

Two proposed 3-story affordable multi-family buildings (one with basement), focused on providing compact apartments/residences for single moms. Project includes (13) 2-BR units (including 1 ADA-accessible unit) and 600 sq ft day care on basement level. Non-contributing

A Pre-Application Conference has been scheduled by Lever Architecture to discuss the renovation of the Artists Repertory Theater at 1515 SW Morrison St:

Renovation of the existing 18,000sf Artist Repertory Theater (ART) building. The renovation will add new theater, rehearsal, office and support space for ART and a dozen affiliated companies in the ART HUB. The expansion will add a partial second floor and increase the total area to approximately 28,000sf. The existing concrete exterior walls and the east and west bays of existing structure will remain. The central portion of the building will be rebuilt with a higher structure to accommodate a large theater and second floor. The existing covered drive will be infilled with a new main entry and lobby space. The two levels of parking below the main floor will remain. Parking Level 1 will be accessed from an entry in the building along SW 15th Avenue. Parking Level 2 will be accessed from a new entry in the future ART Tower. The building will undergo a full seismic upgrade. Given the existing conditions, the project has limited stormwater options. The project team will review with BES

A building permit was issued to R & B Design Studio for a Habitat for Humanity project at 8120 N Interstate Ave:

Building 1 of 2, to be built on west portion of site. Review with 18-280327-MT (HVAC for building). Three story with partial 4th story, 12 affordable housing units. Entire site Grading and Utility permit 18-280322-UTL-01-CO be reviewed concurrently. Permit for 2nd building to come in after this CO and UTL both issued.

A building permit was issued to Works Progress Architecture for Nomad at 5620 N Interstate Ave:

New construction of 7-story Mixed-Use Building; 2-stories C.I.P. Post-tensioned Concrete Slabs and Columns, 5-stories wood-frame. 6 levels of Residential Units with Amenity over 1 Level of Residential Amenity and Retail. Work to the Retail will be included as part of this Permit. The Overall Buillding Height is less than 75ft.

The Clay + Tiffany Apartments at 1110 SW Clay St have been submitted for Type III Design Review by SERA Architects:

New mixed use building for student housing. Commercial space is proposed on the ground floor. The sixteen story building would have 260 units. There would
be a mix of studios, and one and two bedroom units. No on-site parking is proposed. A loading space is proposed with access from SW Clay. One modification requested to bike rack requirement (33.266.220.C3).

Proposal is to demolish the existing structures and construct new 4,520sf mini-market and a new 2,970sf canopy over a new quick vehicle service facility with four (4) dispensers. The existing underground storage tanks will remain. New piping for petroleum products. Fueling facility will provide eight (8) vehicle fueling positions, as it does currently.

Early Assistance has been requested by Merryman Barnes Architects for the King Parks Apartments at 6445 Northeast Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard:

Follow up EA – with planner only (Jason) to confirm that this project will meet Community Design Standards. Please note – this is a PHB funded Affordable Housing Project which consists of 70 units of affordable housing (100% of project).

Proposal is for developing a new academic building and would like to update its impact mitigation plan (IMP). The univeristy would like to explore its options under the existing IMP as well as the new campus institutional (CI) zoning district.

Early Assistance has been requested for a project at 13655 E Burnside St:

Looking at purchasing the northern section of this lot to build more units and possibly “connect” it with their current development on R109424. See CO 15-170799.

A project at 1944 SE Tacoma St has been submitted for Type II Design Review by Works Progress Architecture:

New construction 3-story multi-family development comprissed of (12) units. This is not affordable housing. (9) standa4rd parking spaces are provided and (31) bicycle parking spaces. Solar arrays are proposed for south facing roof slopes.

A project at 3024 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy has been submitted for Type II Environmental Review:

Developing three lots with five duplexes, one tri-plex, and one four-plex. The existing single family home to remain. Also constructing a water quality facility in public ROW, which is in the “c” overlay. Please note there has been a Public Works Alternative Review for this development (see PW 16-122770).
