The redevelopment of Dekum Court is being part funded by the 2018 regional housing bond. The new Dekum Court include 200 units of affordable housing, an increase of 160 units.

Early Assistance has been requested by Home Forward for the redevelopment of Dekum Court at 7003 NE 27th Ave:

The project is the phased redevelopment of the Dekum Court affordable housing development. Currently Dekum Court has 40 units of housing on 5.3 acres of land. Phase 1 of the project will be to demolish the existing Head Start building and construct a minimum of 40 new apartment homes. Phase 2 of the project will be to move current residents into the new units, demolish all remaining structures on site and construct up to 160 additional units for a total of 200 units of housing.

A project at NW 24th Pl and Vaughn has been submitted for a Pre-Permit Plan Check:

19 multi-family units. A lot confirmation was recently completed (see PR 20-119022 LC)

Alterations to the Galleria at 600 SW 10th Ave have been submitted for a Type 1x Historic Resource Review:

The existing Target retail store that is currently located on the second and third floors of the building will be relocated and consolidated on the first floor of the building with minimal exterior alterations. Those exterior alterations include repurposing of existing blade signage, the addition of new signage, attaching new canvas to existing awnings, and installation of a small LTE antenna (as further described below, the ¿Project¿). Beyond the signage and awnings, the alterations affect less than 500 square feet of exterior façade. Based on the proposed changes, the Bureau of Development Services has confirmed that these Historic Resource Reviews are to be processed with a Type Ix procedure under PCC 33.846.060, Table 846-1 and PCC 33.730.042 (Concurrent Reviews).

A building permit was issued to Studio 3 Architecture for The Bluffs at 5150 N Lombard St:

New 4 story, 36 unit apartment building with (2) tenant spaces on ground floor, includes associated sitework *** mechanical permit to be separate ***

A building permit was issued for a project at 5111 SE Woodstock Blvd:

New 3-story, 28-unit apartment building with interior trash enclosure, bike storage room and short-term bicycle parking.

Design Advice has been requested by Holst Architecture for the De Paul Treatment Center at 830 SE 102nd Ave:

55,000 square foot drug and alcohol treatment center for adults, possibly could expand to 65,000 square feet and include services for youth. The current proposal includes 70 beds in sleeping units for short term treatment and 24 beds for detox treatment. The proposed structure would also include dining and amenity spaces for residents as well as administrative spaces

Early Assistance has been requested by Dao Architecture for a project at 5403 SE 122nd Ave:

Work Proposed: Proposed building is a single 4-story, wood-framed structure, providing 65 units of affordable housing and approximately 18 covered, but not enclosed parking spaces. R-2 occupancy, Type V-A, NFPA 13R sprinklered. Building is U-shaped, ground floor common room and support spaces, surrounding an interior court/garden.

Early Assistance has been requested by Holst Architecture for a project at 2510 NE Sandy Blvd:

Renovation of existing warehouse building with work that will include demolition of existing offfice, portion of building, reconstruction of exterior wall to enclose warehouse building, seismic upgrade, energy code upgrades, new utilities, new roof, site upgrades and ROW upgrades. The project will include an occupancy change to OCCUPANCY B

Early Assistance has been requested by Brett Schulz Architect for a project also located at 2510 NE Sandy Blvd:

Demolish northern portion of existing 1-story industrial building. Construct new 49-unit multifamily building with affordable housing and ground floor retail. Community design standards are being used.

The renovation of the Medallion Apartments at 1969 NW Johnson St has been submitted for Type III Historic Resource Review by Holst Architecture:

Existing six story, 90 unit apartment building with a rental office and community room on the ground floor. Project scope includes a new exterior skin, HVAC upgrades, site upgrades, and non-conforming upgrades.
