A project at 4419 SE 61st Ave has been submitted for building permit review:

New 3 story, 9 unit apartment building with associated site work, and attached trash enclosure with recycle area; short term bike racks; no onsite parking

A building permit was issued for the Division.28 apartments at 2880 SE Division St:

New 4-story, mixed use, 64 unit apartment building with tuck under enclosed parking, interior trash and recycle room; on-site stormwater treatment, site improvements, and landscape ***w/17-112414-MT***Septic decommissioining req’d. A building permit was issued to Allusa Architecture for a project at 2434 SE 92nd Ave (previously 9211 SE Division St):

New 3 story apartment building with 15 units, detached trash enclosure less than 120 sq. ft.

A building permit was issued to Novak Architecture for a project with two buildings at 5681 and 5687 NE Glisan St (previously 5663 NE Glisan St):

Adidas Campus Village

The South Building at the Adidas Campus Village expansion has been submitted for building permit review. The building, seen here from Madrona Park, will be built on top of an existing parking garage.

Design Advice has been requested by Mithun for the Pepsi Blocks Phase 1a:

Design Advice has been requested by NBBJ for the OHSU Hospital Expansion Project:

Design Advice Request to discuss construction of a 14 story building on the site of the former School of Dentistry on the OHSU campus. The project is an expansion of inpatient services. Approximately 200 to 300 parking spaces are proposed for use by patients as part of the project. Approval of the project requires this meeting and a Marquam Hill Parking Review.

Early Assistance has been requested for a project at 3019 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd:

Early Assistance has been requested by Clark/Kjos Architects for a project at 1500 SE 96th Ave:

Design Review for a four to five story medical office building and adjacent surface parking for Adventist Medical Center

A project at 5702 SE Center St has been submitted for a Type II Adjustment Review:

New 1-story + mezzanine commercial office space (approximately 7,000 sq ft with on-site parking). Request for adjustment to allow vehicles on the property accessed from SE Center St 33.130.215.B.1.B.2 (building setback).

A project at 1500 SW Taylor St has been submitted for a Type III Design Review by Leeb Architects:

Development of a seven-story mixed use building, consisting of a five-story wood frame building over a two level podium with a concrete structure. Two modifications requested for encroachments into parking spaces and reduce the spacing for bike parking spaces from 24″-18″.

A structural permit has been submitted for review by Lever Architecture for the South Building at the Adidas Campus Expansion:

STR 01 – New building structural frame for 4 stories of mass timber construction (assembly) built on top of an existing parking garage. Work includes steel braced frame core with elevator pit and stairs for the new structure. Seismic upgrades to the existing 3 story post tensioned concrete structure below parking garage

A project at 6935 NE Glisan St has been submitted for building permit review by Brett Schulz Architect:

New 2 story apartment with 11 SRO sleeping units, with one retail space- M occupany (no occupancy this permit) trash enclosure shared with adjacent building. ***mechanical to be deferred.***

A building permit was issued for 1111 NW 16th Ave:

A building permit was issued for 140 SW Columbia St:

New 20 story, mixed use residential tower. Tower will span over existing parking entrance. Project will include 348 residential dwelling units, 244 parking spaces and approx 15,000 sf shell commercial space

Nomad 1431 N Church St

The Nomad development, as presented to the Design Commission at a Design Request Advice meeting on September 20th. The 130-unit development is being designed by Works Progress Architecture.

Early Assistance has been requested by Scott Edwards Architecture to for a garage at 1988 SE 3rd Ave, intended to serve the office development at 1921 SE 3rd Ave: 

Proposed 4-story parking garage with approximately 120 parking spaces that will serve the proposed industrial office building across the street at 1921 SE 3rd Ave. This parking structure will be open with natural ventilation of most likely concrete construction. A new driveway is proposed near the northwest corner of the lot onto SE 3rd Ave for access. There should be enough landscape area remaining to take care of stormwater plus any additional drywells under the parking are if required. See EA 17-165761 for information on the office building development.

Early Assistance has been requested by Concord Hospitality Enterprises for a project at 1710 NE Multnomah St:

Demo aging existing 180+ room extended stay hotel and replace with approximately three hotel brands equaling 450 rooms.

Early Assistance has been requested by Ankrom Moisan Architects for a project at 2148 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd:

Construction of a new 3-story office building (approximately 30,000 SF). Two retail locations within the building along MLK on north and south corners. Public parking proposed on R101769. Private parking below level 2. All parking is surface parking. Proposed disposal of stormwater to be infiltration on site.

Early Assistance has been requested by Edge Development to discuss a project at 5665 NE Glisan St:

Demolish two existing single story garages and construct three, 3-story multi-family residential (30 units total).

Early Assistance has been requested by Fosler Portland Architecture for a project at 9501 N Ivanhoe St:

This is a zoning inquiry prior to proposing a project. Option 1 is to renovate the existing non-confirming use (grocery store to remain) plus a new 2nd floor ddition for one apartment. Option 2 is to replace the building with a new building to contain ground floor commercial and 2nd floor residential. No development is being proposed at this time.

A project at 5321 NE 13th Ave has been submitted for Type II Conditional Use Review:

Demolish existing structure and construct a new 5-unit multi-family building. Property was originally part of a Conditional Use Review (07-108596).

Nomad at 1431 N Church St has been submitted for Type II Design Review by Works Progress Architecture:

Proposed development is for a seven story building occupying a half city block at N Interstate Ave btwn N Church and N Maryland Ave. The site currently has four structures that will be removed. The proposed building use includes at-grade surface parking, with retail lobby, residential amenities and a residential unit at grade. The next floors with consist of six levels of residential units above.There will be a large shared kitchen,gathering room and covered outdoor space on the 6th floor. Parking and loading access to the site will be from N Maryland Ave along the east edge.

A building permit was issued for a project at 1213 N Alberta St:

Construct new (3) story 14 unit apartment building with bike storage and trash area on level 1; associated site work
