Early Assistance has been requested by FFA Architecture & Interiors for the Mt. Scott Community Center Seismic Retrofit and Expansion Project at 5516 SE 72nd Ave:

Demolition of ~18,000 sf of existing structure, renovation of ~35,000 sf of existing structure and ~30,000 sf 2-story addition. Site work as required to bring non-conforming situations into compliance
with Title 33.

A project at 4520 N Colonial Ave has been submitted for building permit review by Works Progress Architecture:

A project at 1560 N Going Ave has been submitted for building permit review by Works Progress Architecture:

The Albina & Prescott Apartments at 751 N Prescott St have been submitted for building permit review:

Construct a new 4-story, 29 unit, wood framed multi family building with support spaces. (w/ 21-087218-MT)

Metro Reports: Steeplejack Brewery, Baldwin Affordable Housing, 5403 SE 122nd, and more

The Baldwin Affordable Housing project is being developed by Home Forward in collaboration with the Urban League of Portland, and will comprise of 60 units of affordable permanent supportive housing. The project is being designed by SERA Architects.

Early Assistance has been requested by Dao Architecture for a project at 5403 SE 122nd Ave:

Proposed building is a single 4-story, wood-framed structure, providing 65 units of affordable housing and approx. 11 covered, but not enclosed parking spaces. R-2 Occupancy, Type V-A, NFPA 13R sprinklered. Building is U-shaped, ground floor common room and support spaces, surrounding an interior court/garden

Early Assistance has been requested for a project at 5415 SE Milwaukie Ave:

Consolidate properties into the RM4 zone and design and develop three multifamily buildings

A project at 751 N Prescott St has been submitted for a Type II Historic Resource Review by Works Progress Architecture:

The proposed development includes construction of a new wood frame 4 story multi family building with support spaces. There are 30 residential units varying in size. Two stairs access each floor with both extending to the roof. A single Elevator provides access to each floor and roof deck. The two existing lots will be consolidated into one single lot for development. The applicant proposes a modification to 33.130.230.B.4 ¿ Ground floor window and frontage standards for dwelling units.

The Baldwin Apartments at 7656-7688 N Interstate Ave have been submitted for building permit review:

BALDWIN APARTMENTS – new 4-story low-income apartment building with 60 units, ground floor permanent supportive service offices, community room, and courtyards. ***Review w. 21-004823-MT

A building permit was issued to Open Concept Architecture for the conversion of the former Metropolitan Community Church at 2400 NE Broadway into the Steeplejack Brewery:

PDOX PS – TI for new tenant; change of occupancy from A-3, church to A-2, restaurant; site work to include removing retaining wall, install paving, bike racks, and landscaping; new walls in basement includes vestible, brewery, mill room, restrooms, kitchen, trash, and office; new walls on main floor to create taproom, lounge, storage, and entry. Recovering roof.

Metro Reports: Minnesota Places, 7337 SE Foster, 8736 N Willamette, and more

Design Advice has been requested for Minnesota Places at 1208 N Jessup St. The eight story affordable housing building, designed by Wright Architecture, will be constructed with mass timber. The project’s seventy two units will be mostly compromised of two and three bedroom units.

Design Advice has been requested by Wright Architecture for a Minnesota Places at 1208 N Jessup St:

54,000 SF affordable housing building on a 1/4 block site in the North Interstate Plan District, primarily residential use, modular constructed mass timber structure using MPP, includes on-site stormwater facilities.

Early Assistance has been requested for a project at 8736 N Willamette Blvd:

Construct a new apartment building (24-30 units total).

Early Assistance has been requested by Works Progress Architecture for a project at 751 N Prescott St:

New Multi-Family Residential Project with 40 proposed dwelling units (including ground level units & Inclusionary Housing); no vehicle parking; 60 long term bike parking spaces; stormwater managed via Drywell or Infiltration Planter (TBD). These are contributing structures in the Mississippi Conservation District.

The units are located in (3) detached three story buildings with on-site parking spaces, user amenities, covered bike parking, and trash enclosure. Unit counts are 30 in Building 100, 24 in Building 300, and 16 in Building 200.
