The redevelopment of Kellogg Middle School at 6909 SE Powell Blvd has been submitted for a Type III Conditional Use Review:

Redevelop the entire Kellogg Middle School site. Demo existing structures and remove the debris. Development of vacant field since the property will then be graded and reseeded in anticipation of the redevelopment of the site in spring 2019. The cleaned site will house a new 105,000 sf school structure, off street parking area and bus loop, recreation field, and a limited service access road. Steelhead Architecture have requested Early Assistance for Lightbox Going, a three unit, four story development on a narrow site in the Humboldt neighborhood. The developers of the project, which is intended to achieve LEED Platinum, are Lightbox Portland, LLC. Other projects by Steelhead Architecture and Lightbox Portland include Lightbox 44 on SE Division, and the net zero energy Lightbox 23, which is about to start construction.

New three story, 133,000 sf pre kindergarten through 8th grade school with spaces for Concordia University college of education classrooms, offices, and community service partner organizations

A building permit was issued to Gary Brink & Associates for the above ground work at the Pearl District Hampton Inn & Suites:

New 8 story hotel with 243 guestrooms, 104 parking stalls above grade, ground floor retail, indoor pool. Slab-on-grade, 3 levels of PT concrete floor system and 4 levels of non-combustible steel stud/composite joists.
