Metro Reports: NW 23rd and Marshall, Zeal Lofts, 2251 SE 92nd, and more

A building permit is under review for the NW 23rd and Marshall Apartments, designed by GBD Architects. In May 2021 the Portland City Council upheld the Design Commission’s approval of the project, after an appeal by the Northwest District Association.

Every week, the Bureau of Development Services publishes lists of Early Assistance applications, Land Use Reviews and Building Permits processed in the previous week. We publish the highlights. This post covers September 27th, 2021 to October 3rd, 2021.

Early Assistance has been requested by Dominek Architecture for a project at 2251 SE 92nd Ave:

Develop new 2-story fourplex structure at the west end of existing lot. Maintain existing SFR. Stormwater is proposed to be handled by a medium-to-large drywell located on the NE portion of the site (pending appropriate infiltration rates verified by testing).

A project at 1220 N Hayden Meadows Dr has been submitted for building permit review:

PDOX PS – new grocery store and asscoaited site work. w/ 21-083397/400/402/405-CO and 21-083412-MT.

PDOX PS – new fuel station and canopy west of new store. w/ 21-083397/400/402/405-CO and 21-083412-MT.

The NW 23rd and Marshall apartments at 1137 NW 23rd Ave have been submitted for building permit review:

NW 23RD & MARSHAL -FND-01 – Excavation, Shoring and Foundation for a new 5 story mixed-use apartment building; includes foundations up to and including ground level concrete structural slab.**NO MT or DEMO THIS SUBMITTAL – Demo of existing structures to be submitted separately**

A building permit was issued for the Zeal Lofts at 3155 N Williams Ave:

New 6 story mixed-use 205 group living unit, 10 full unit apartment building with 3-4 shell tenant spaces on ground floor and onsite below grade parking, includes associated sitework w/18-185085-MT
