12 apartments in a three-story building with onsite drywell in courtyard.

The renovation of The Joyce Hotel at 322 SW 11th Ave has been submitted for a Type II Design Review by Carleton Hart Architecture:

Remodel and seismic rehabilitation of an existing, 4-story URM building. Program to be 66 single room occupancy (SRO) units of permanent supportive housing (PSH). Basement to include bicycle storage and utility spaces. Ground floor to include residential amentiy spaces, utility spaces, and offices focused on tenant services. Residential floors to include shared bathroom facilities. Roof to include outdoor terrace. Site improvments include ROW improvements per PBOT.

A project with two buildings at 3733 N Williams Ave has been submitted for building permit review by VWR Development:

PDOX PS – new 4-story mixed use building (east bldg) with 13 residential units and ground floor retail with associated site work

PDOX PS – new 4-story apartment building (west bldg) with 17 residential units with associated site work w/21-008589-CO

The first permit was issued to Ankrom Moisan Architects for the Holden of Pearl at 1540 NW 13th Ave:

Partial permit for excavation and shoring for new 16 story tower with 3 story podium, courtyard, and 1 below grade level for parking. Shoring in the ROW. No plumbing and utilities associated with this permit

Early Assistance has been requested by Barry Smith Architect for a project at 3333 SW US Veterans Hospital Rd:

PROPOSAL The proposal is develop housing on Marquam Hill to eliminate commuting for residents and support personnel of the Hospitals and Level 1 Trauma Center. Housing and services are provided for the employment providers adjacent to the site. Household Living will be classified as Residential Group R1 and R2 for temporary and permanent residences by the Oregon State Structural Specialty Code. Household Living is mixed within structures in a combination of SRO and apartment configurations. Business, Retail Sales and Service and Assembly Occupancies are developed to provide support services for residents, guests and neighbors. Parking is provided and shared throughout the site.
