A project at 550 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd has been submitted for a Type III Design Review by GBD Architects:

A new 7-story (5-over-2) mixed use, residential building with retail and parking. The basement consists of mechanical spaces and residential amenities (bike parking and fitness), the ground floor consists of building services, residential lobby, a garage with semi-automated parking stackers and future commercial/retail use core and shell spaces. Floors 2-7 consist of 132 apartments. Amenity spaces are provided at the ground floor. The building has a vegetated roof system. Two modifications are being requested: one to ground floor windows in the EX zone (33.140.230) and one to the ground floor active uses (33.510.225).

Early Assistance has been requested by Marathon Acquisition and Development for a project at 2202 E Burnside St:

New 5-story, mixed-use building. Approximately 114 units, 115,800 SF. Stormwater management is TBD. Proposal is expected to meet community design standards, however, applicant would like update/info about DOZA implementation.

Early Assistance has been requested for a project at 1666 SE Lambert St:

The proposed project is a 86-unit multifamily (40 units in the northern building (BUILDING 1) and 46 units in the southern building (BUILDING 2) project across approximately 71,000 sf of living space and 4 stories of living space above one level of parking garage. The units will be studios, one bedroom and two bedroom units. There will be approximately 60 parking spaces provided on site.

Floor & Décor at 11919 N Jantzen Dr has been submitted for a Type II Adjustment:

Floor & Décor, a national retailer of hard surface flooring materials, is proposing to demolish the vacant/former Safeway building and reconstruct an approximately ~80,000sf building and associated parking lot for their retail use.

Metro Reports: Baldwin Affordable Housing, Press Blocks, Koz on N Killingsworth 2, and more

The Baldwin Affordable Housing project is being developed by Home Forward in collaboration with the Urban League of Portland, and will comprise of 60 units of affordable permanent supportive housing. The project will be specifically targeted to serve residents from the Kenton community who are most in need.

New 3-Story, mixed-use structure. 19 apartment units are proposed. The ground floor will contain 1,150 sf of commercial lease space along Belmont St. The project total square footage is 11,473. A drywell on the south end of the site will serve to dispose of stormwater. They plan to meet community design standards.

A Pre-Application Conference to discuss construction of a 12,450 square foot retail building (CVS Pharmacy). A drvie through window and a surface parking lot for 30 vehicles is proposed. There are curb cuts on both SE M L King and SE Grand for the parking lot and the drive-through. The drive-through exits onto SE Clay Street. An Early Assistance meeting was held in 2019 to discuss this project (19-238518)
