The Design Commission has approved Con-way Block 291E, a seven-story apartment building. Design Advice has been offered for the Landing at Macadam, a four block development proposal in South Waterfront. The project, being designed by HLR Architects for Alamo Manhattan, would include 1,079 residential units, 926 vehicular parking spaces and 27,259 sq ft of retail.
The development would be subject to the city’s inclusionary housing rules, which require the provision of affordable housing or the payment of a fee-in-lieu.
The Design Commission has approved Saltwood, a development with two six-story buildings on Blocks 291W and 292W of the Con-way Masterplan area of Northwest Portland. The development, designed by SERA Architects for Cairn Pacific, will include 354 units and 17,000 sq ft of retail space. 394 long term bicycle parking stalls and 362 parking spaces are proposed.
The Design Commission has approved two seven story mixed use buildings proposed by developer Cairn Pacific on South Waterfront Blocks 41 and 44. The buildings, designed in partnership by Jones Architecture and GBD Architects, will together include 524 residential units. Landscape design for the development is being done by PLACE.
