The new PCC Metropolitan Workforce Training Center, designed by Bora Architects, has been submitted for building permit review.

Design Advice has been requested by McGuirl Designs & Architecture for the Market Street Apartments at 1541 SW Market St:

New affordable housing, multi-family building. 8 stories. 125 dwelling units. 2 Off-street loading zones. Stormwater disposal utilizing flow through planters.

A project at 5802 SE 92nd Ave has been submitted for a Pre-Permit Plan Check by Otak:

The proposed project is a multifamily residential building with 47 units and a commercial space in a 5-story building. The building will be connected to an existing 3-story building on the same site. Storm water for the existing building will remain as-is and the new portion of the building will handle storm water via an on-site drywell. No on-site parking will be provided.

A project at 6116 NE Willow St has been submitted for a Pre-Permit Plan Check:

New 9 unit apartment

A project at 10413 E Burnside St has been submitted for a Type II Design Review by Inland Oregon:

We are proposing to build a 211 unit six story (5 wood over 1 concrete) apartment building with one level of underground parking. Units will be restricted to households earning no more than 60% AMI.

A project at 605 SE Spokane St has been submitted for building permit review by Studio Cropp:

Single PDF – construct new 3-story, 8 unit residential complex. 4 units are 2-story and 4 units are single story on ground floor with associated site work.

A project at 2510 SE 21st Ave has been submitted for building permit review by Allusa Architecture:

Single PDF – construct new 2-story restaurant.

The PCC Metropolitan Workforce Training Center at 5600 NE 42nd Ave has been submitted for building permit review:

New two-story, approximately 50,000 sf office building and training center with a mass timber structural system. Includes classrooms, conference and meeting rooms, career center, open office spaces, common areas, a community room, and a leased partner space (w/21-106109-MT). Trash/recycling area included (21-056112-CO).

Metro Reports: Riverplace Parcel 3, 11005 E Burnside, 5327 NE Glisan, and more

A building permit was issued for the second phase of BRIDGE Housing’s Riverplace Parcel 3. Originally intended to be market rate housing, the six story building will now be affordable housing. The first phase, named The Vera, was completed earlier this year.

New 27,671sf 30-unit apartment building

Early Assistance has been requested by Otak Inc and Palindrome Communities for a project at 5802 SE 92nd Ave:

The applicant seeks to develop a mixed-use project consisting of ground floor retail/commercial use and 4 floors of multifamily residential apartment use. The number of units is expected to be between approximately 37-42. The existing building on R135387 will be converted to ground floor commercial and residential units on the top floor It is assumed a mix of studio, one, and two bedrooms. On site parking will be evaluated. All required common/open space will be provided. Stormwater treatment has not yet been identified at this time.

New 6 story 5 over 1 Type IIIA and Type I wood apartment over concrete podium structure with ground floor commercial and daylight basement parking – 2nd 6 story tower permitted under 17-156297-CO, includes all site utility piping

PHB – BRIDGE HOUSING EAST TOWER – REV 03 – East building revised to meet program requirements for affordable housing. Fitness area removed, unit laundry removed and common laundry rooms added, mechanical system revised and electric heat added to units, unit bathrooms removed, foundation revision at NE corner, courtyard revised to include playground.
