Every week, the Bureau of Development Services publishes lists of Early Assistance applications, Land Use Reviews and Building Permits processed in the previous week. We publish the highlights. This post covers February 12th to February 18th, 2018.

Early Assistance has been requested by Allied Works Architecture for a project at 4064 N Mississippi Ave:

Current code: New 4-story mixed use residential building accomodating retail use on the ground level and 17 market-rate residential units above. Storm water will be managed on site with connection to adjacent public storm sewer. They are hoping to meet standards and not go through historic review.

Early Assistance has been requested for a project at 7428 N St Louis Ave:

Current code: Project is to construct one four plex and two twelve unit apartment buildings. Complete a land division on the CS zoned lot to produce two individual legal lots that will on each site consist of a twelve unit apartment building. Applicant is planning on using Community Design Standards.

Early Assistance has been requested by Gnich Architecture Studio and em architecture for a project at 1001 SE Sandy Blvd:

Comp plan and zone map changes do not affect this site/project: Change of use from warehouse to office. The existing office space will remain as office space. New windows will be added on the west, north, and east sides of the building, and a new exit door will be added to the northwest corner of the building

A project at 1640 NW Irving St has been submitted for building permit review by William Wilson Architects:

Addition of 2nd floor penthouse to include offices, breakroom and stairs to first floor. Change of occupancy from s-1 to b to include conference room, project room, offices, work areas and (2) bathrooms and a lobby

A project at 6930 SE Long St has been submitted for building permit review:

New 3 story 15 unit apartment building includes associated site work; decommissioning reqd

A project with two buildings at 1610 and 1616 N Willis Blvd has been submitted for building permit review by EPR Design:

New 3-story, 9 unit apartment building with interior garbage room, includes associated site work.

A building permit was issued to JRA Architecture & Planning for the Home2 Suites by Hilton @ Portland Airport, located at 7101 NE 82nd Ave:

Construct new 4 story 99 room hotel with indoor pool and exercise room; associated site work and new parking – see 16-213568 for associated trash enclosure
