Early Assistance has been requested by YBA Architects for a project South of 9330 SE Harold St:

The project consists of two buildings. Building A is a the 129,095SF 5-story, Type IIIB with 162 units of varying in size. The building fronts SE 92nd Avenue and creating an ¿L¿ shape around a residential green. Building B consists of seven 2-story town homes totaling 7,452SF. The main building will house a commercial gym at the SE corner, commercial co-working space in the center on 92nd, and a commercial office at the NW corner. Stormwater will be disposed through drywells , located either in the parking lot, or the landscape area in middle of the site.

Applicant wishes to develop a car dealership, which may include (a) sales and leasing office (b) interior vehicle display (c) vehicle storage (d) vehicle repair facility and (e) other accessory uses such
as car wash on one or more of the development sites.

The Stark Family Housing at 160th and Stark will include 93 units of affordable housing, with a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units. The building design is by Holst Architecture for project owner Human Solutions.

News Roundup: Rocket Empire Machine, Troy Laundry, SW Park Ave Apartments, and more

The SW Park Apartments, proposed for a site at the corner of SW Park and Clifton, would include 89 residential units, affordable to those earning 60% or less of Median Family Income.

The Daily Journal of Commerce wrote about the SW Park Apartments, an 11-story modular building which will include 89 units of affordable housing*.

The Portland Business Journal wrote about Montavilla’s new food hall, Rocket Empire Machine.

There has been a breakthrough on a Community Benefits Agreement for the Broadway Corridor, reports NW Labor Press. The agreement will be in front of the Prosper Portland board on Wednesday August 12th, alongside a Disposition and Development Agreement with developer Continuum Partners.

The proposed project is a renovation of the existing, historic courthouse into a mixed-use building with new office and hotel program within the existing shell. The existing building is 249,588 gsf above grade with a 34,485 sf basement. The majority of the improvements are anticipated to be interior to the building. No net impervious area is being proposed. Stormwater disposal requirements / strategies to be discussed.

A Pre-Application Conference has been scheduled by Hacker Architects to discuss a project at 801 NE 21st Ave:

New 7-story multi-family residential building over 1 of below grade parking level. Total building will be 235,000 gross sf (195,000 sf FAR), 244 units, plus residential amenities.
