The Burnside Delta by Vallaster Corl Architects has been submitted for Design Review:

new 7-story building with some ground-level retail and a total of 85 residential units. The ground level will include 56 bicycle parking spaces and 18 vehicle parking spaces. 7 modifications outlined in application.

Jones Architecture have submitted a renovation of the Fisk Tire Company Building at 1236 NW Flanders St for Historic Resource Review:

Changes include a new loading dock, replacment of all existing window panels, new stroefront entrance doors, new roofing on existing entry canopy, new ada lift and new exterior lighting. Loading dock replacment and expansion will be in the ROW

LRS Architects have submitted a renovation of the Towne Storage Building at 17 SE 3rd Ave for Historic Resource Review:

A building permit is under review for a project at 5606 N Greeley Ave:

New 2 story 4-plex, slightly sloped lot with associated site work

A building permit was issued to Design Department Architecture for the conversion of a building at 930 SE Sandy Blvd:

Change of occupancy from F-1 to A-2. Interior demolition and new walls to reduce existing kitchen and alter sales area to dining area, (2) ADA bathrooms. Exterior work: new parapet at west property line.

A building permit was issued to Fosler Portland Architecture for a project at  8510 N Ivanhoe:

New construction. Three story 20-unit apartment building. New 550sf gross bike and trash enclosure on west side of the lot

Grand Belmont returns before Historic Landmarks Commission (images)

Vallaster Corl Architects and Urban Assets Advisors have returned in front of the Historic Landmarks Commission with revised designs for the Grand Belmont. As proposed at the second Design Advice hearing the project would be one floor shorter than in its previous iteration, and would reach a height of 146′. The project continues to consist of one floor of ground level retails, two floors of parking above, and residential apartments at the upper floors. A rooftop deck and clubroom are proposed for the top floor.

Design Advice offered for Burnside Delta (images)

Design Advice has been offered to Vallaster Corl Architects for the Burnside Delta, a new mixed use building at the intersection of Burnside and Sandy. The 7 story building will include 84 residential units and 2,000 sq of ground floor retail. 22 vehicular spaces would provided, along with 126 bike spaces for the use of the residents. The developer for the project is Urban Development Group.

Landmarks Commission discusses Grand Belmont (images)

Vallaster Corl Architects have gone before the Historic Landmarks Commission with designs for the Grand Belmont, a 14 story residential tower planned for the Central Eastside. The project by Urban Assets Advisors would include 193 residential units on floors 4-14, with 7,000 sq ft of retail space facing Grand Avenue at the first floor. Floors 2 and 3 would be used for parking, located above grade due to the high water table in the area. A rooftop deck and clubroom are proposed for the top floor.

A Design Review is underway for Couch9, an 11 story mixed-use building in the Pearl. The proposed building will contain 137 residential units and 8,000 sq ft of retail in an 126’-8” tall structure. The residential units will be a mix of studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments. A rooftop deck for the common use of residents would be provided at the 11th level, along with an associated clubroom and fitness area. 87 car parking spaces would be located in two underground levels. 242 bicycle parking spaces would be located throughout the building in common storage areas and within the individual units. The project design is by Vallaster Corl Architects for Urban Asset Advisors who previously worked together on the Lower Burnside Lofts.

Under Construction in Goose Hollow: Jefferson Street Flats (images)

The Jefferson Street Flats are under construction in Goose Hollow. The project by Vallaster Corl architects for Mill Creek Residential Trust will include 134 residential units in a 5-7 story building. 121 car parking spaces and 150 long term bicycle spaces will be located in two levels of below grade parking. Amenity spaces for the residents will be located on the ground level facing SW Jefferson St, and on a 750 sq ft roof deck.
